Kim Ploussard is the former Co-Director of the The Relational Life Mastery and Coaching program designed for professionals seeking competency in the clinical practice of Terry Real’s Relational Life Therapy or RLT. This model is internationally known for helping men and women create the connection they desire in their relationships. Mastering this model is like learning a new language. It requires fluency, guidance and lots of practice. Kim trained hundreds of therapists and coaches to receive their RLT certification when she served  as a Faculty member from 2005-2022. She continues to train professionals working with couples both individually and in small groups. She currently serves on the Faculty of the Healing Our Core Issues Institute for professionals seeking to deepen their skills in healing developmental trauma through experiential methods.

Coaching Program

learning relational life therapy is like learning a new language

Relational Life Mastery and Coaching:
  • Is conducted over a bridge phone line or video-conference, enabling professionals to learn and practice from the comfort of home or office.
  • Gives options to suit each individual’s learning style. Participants may choose either individual coaching or small groups of two to five people.
  • Coaching fees begin at $100 per month depending on size and frequency (2-3 times a month).
Coaching provides the following opportunities:
  • Expert instruction on the specific phases of the RLT model
  • Case presentations and consultations
  • Practice through roleplay
  • Learn the nuances of RLT
  • Enhance skills and increase confidence
  • Learn the art of Joining with the Truth

  • Acquire and practice skills in Pia Mellody’s groundbreaking PIT model to work with the inner child parts and feeling reduction processes

Clinical Supervision

My over 20 years in private practice specialized in working with couples and relationship issues. I also met with individuals if they specifically want help with relationship issues in a broad sense (relationship with self, parents, children, friends, higher power, etc.). Prior to private practice I was the Director of Equinox Counseling Center, an outpatient substance abuse center where we utilized Pia Mellody's trauma model of addiction from the Meadows in Arizona. Pia’s work with codependency is what brought me to specializing in couples work and developmental trauma. I am currently a faculty member of the Healing Our Core Issues Institute and a former faculty member at RLI. I continue to train and mentor other therapists/coaches via phone/video conference in working with developmental trauma and couples. 
 
My diverse background also allows me to offer individual supervision in a broader sense for therapists seeking guidance on tough cases and/or who want to meet their licensure requirements.
